Wire Guage Reference Tables



The Table below compares the 2 most popular wire gauge systems. I use British Imperial Standard (SWG).

Note that there is approx a difference of 2 gauges between SWG and AWG. For example 14AWG is almost the same as 16SWG. Use the table below to convert between these 2 systems.
