What is a GIF file? A GIF file (Graphics Interchange Format) is an image format primarily used for short animations but also for simple, static images. GIFs can contain multiple frames and play them sequentially – similar to a short video clip (animated GIFs). The format compresses images so that no image information is lost. Nevertheless, GIFs are usually relatively small files.
The display has a total of 3 MB of memory available for GIFs.
The selection of the GIF to be displayed on the screen is done either via an RC proportional channel, a switching input, or via a random generator..
Application examples:

- Devil Eyes
- Warning signs / Information signs
